Knoxville, IA Hubbell Construction Services completed a 15,000-square-foot addition to Weiler Inc.â€™s existing 45,000-square-foot manufacturing plant. The addition had to be built around and over existing footings, and it also had to allow for future expansion of the headquarters. The stair shaft was extended vertically to create an entry icon as well as a signage mast that can carry Weiler Inc.â€™s logo high enough for interstate viewing at great distances. The envelope is a structural steel frame with face brick and an EPDM roof.
UnityPoint Health Clinic6,012 SF
Pleasant Hill, IA When UnityPoint Health purchased Pleasant Hill Family Physicians, the Des Moines health care leader chose to expand the existing practice and looked to Hubbell Realty Company to develop the clinic and serve as the general contractor. This build-to-suit project was a smaller version of the one Hubbell completed for UnityPoint Health in Ankeny. The new clinic features a larger reception area and easier access compared to the previous facility, with extra space for growth and new technology.
Grimes Distribution110,000 SF
Grimes, IA Grimes Distribution Center I is a speculative warehouse building constructed in 2009. The building is constructed of precast concrete and features 11 docking bays, each with 24 feet of clearance height and dimensions of 50 feet by 200 feet (10,000 square feet). It is fully sprinkled and has a mixture of dock-high and drive-in doors. The front elevation of the building has attractive glass front entries and punched windows.
Brownstones on Grand43 Units
Des Moines, IA Brownstones on Grand consists of 43 townhomes located between Second and Third streets on Grand Avenue in downtown Des Moines. Careful consideration was given as to what type of product and price point were in demand for this location. A brownstone community was selected for this site because of the close proximity to downtown attractions, the view of downtown Des Moines and the State Capitol building and easy access to Interstate 235.
Riverpoint Lofts58 Units
Des Moines, IA Rocket Transfer Lofts is the historic rehabilitation of a downtown Des Moines warehouse into 58 one- and two-bedroom loft units. The building's amenities include a fitness area, media room and community area, as well as on-site parking and storage for the residents. Unit amenities include walk-in closets, in-unit washer and dryer, multiple baths and extra storage.
CoOportunity Health9,400 SF
West Des Moines, IA CoOportunity Health sought the help of Hubbell Construction Services in updating its existing office suite in West Des Moines. The team renovated open office space, eight private offices, four small meeting rooms, three large conference rooms and a collaboration space. In total, the project took 14 weeks to complete. The variety of spaces undergoing renovation offered unique opportunities to personalize rooms based on their purpose.

Lakeview Medical Park115,000 SF
West Des Moines,IA Hubbell Realty was selected from among several developers by Iowa Methodist Medical Center to develop this five-story medical office building. This was to be the first in a series of possible medical buildings to be located in Iowa Methodist’s Lakeview Medical Park. The project provided an attractive alternative to the medical providers as well as the patient community through an easily accessible and inviting facility with state-of-the art building mechanical and security systems.
Court Avenue LoftsDowntown
51-unit Apartment Building This project is the first of a two-phase project on Court Avenue in downtown Des Moines. This 51-unit project consists of one and two-bedroom units ranging from 595 square feet to over 1,000 square feet in size with most units featuring two baths. All units feature open kitchens and living areas, ceilings at least ten feet high, and impressive views of downtown Des Moines.
Wolfe Eye ClincWest Des Moines,IA
38,606 SF Wolfe Eye Clinic was a “for fee” build-to-suit project in which Hubbell Realty Company provided a turnkey facility that the client owns located in West Des Moines, Iowa. Development services included site selection and acquisition, rezoning and subdivision of the lot to provide a future building site, architect and contractor team selection and construction management.

215,840 SF Drake University is now able to offer state-of-the-art suite-style student housing to an expanding student body. FEH Architects, Inc. successfully blended architectural styles in the historic Drake neighborhood and Drake campus to create a very modern look and feel.

7,270 SF Hubbell Realty Company constructed this multi-tenant building for WD Properties, as a developer representing the owner’s interests, in the West Glen Town Center. A high-end clothing store served as the original anchor tenant in this building, comprising 4,182 square feet of space.
