The dramatic expansion and revitalization of the area along Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Ingersoll Avenue in Des Moines led to renewed development efforts in the area. West Des Moines based Freedom Financial Bank saw this as an opportunity to expand into this market when the former Art Store building became available.
Hubbell Construction Services turned the 8,943 square foot building into a full-service, secure retail community bank. Hubbell provided services ranging from architectural concepts to permitting and zoning requirements. The interior of the building was completely reconfigured while the exterior was renovated to create a distinct look.
